He is also a staff writer for The Campus Times (U of R's student newspaper) sports section and hosts a weekly sports talk radio show, The Rant, alongside his baseball teammate Brian Sheffler.

He also operates two sports blogs that cover U of R's basketball and soccer programs, The Jacket's Nest Basketball and The Jacket's Nest SoccerFollow Nate on Twitter by clicking here.

Nate garnered the nickname "Bipoley Moley" (Bipoley derived from Bipolar and Moley derived from Mulberg) back during his high school baseball days at Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill, NJ. During his junior year, one of Nate's teammates suggested the nickname simply because of the fact that Nate is known to have a very up and down, angry and happy, and high and low personality when it comes to arguments and controversial topics. The rest of the Cherry Hill High School East baseball team loved the depiction, and thus, the name has stuck to this very day, as Nate continues to bring his "Bipoleyness" to his sports ranting.
